Copresented by the A/P/A Institute at NYU and A/P/A Studies Program in the NYU Department of Social & Cultural Analysis

This year, the A/P/A Studies Program and Institute (now two separate entities) celebrate twenty years of A/P/A scholarship and community building at NYU. To mark this milestone and highlight the acclaimed artists, thinkers, and writers who have been a part of the A/P/A Institute and A/P/A Studies Program over the past two decades, we present a series of reunion events featuring former A/P/A Artists-in-Residence. Rather than speaking about their own oeuvre Tomie Arai (A/P/A AIR 1997-1998), Regie Cabico (A/P/A AIR 2005-2006), Jessica Hagedorn (A/P/A AIR 1998-1999), David Henry Hwang (A/P/A AIR 2000-2001), and DJ Rekha (A/P/A AIR 2006-2007) will offer short presentations (in their preferred medium) on the work of a fellow Artist-in-Residence. Each artist will also reflect on their time in residence at NYU, and all that followed.

RSVP using the form below.

This event is funded in part by Poets & Writers through public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the City Council.
